I am a teacher of the deaf and while I am not currently in a public school, I have been in the past. I have worked in both private and public settings including self-contained and itinerant work.

Why do you think that because a parent might make a choice that you would not, that they are not child-centered? Perhaps they know their own child better than you, a stranger, does?

Very interesting point. This data is reported by the parents themselves. It also only includes parents who chose to respond. If someone was very displeased with EI, they could have quit and therefore wouldn't be giving feedback at all.
