    yes im a registered nurse. Work 4 days a week. The loss of vestibular function is more of an issue than going deaf TBH :/ Yes work has been very supportive thankfully! Never imagined i would start going deaf back when i was 33!

    Hi all ☺️ I'm looking to meet new friends that are deaf or HOH I have autoimmune inner ear disease and am going deaf. Have a CI in my right ear and am losing my hearing in my left ear. Just looking for new friends in their 20's 30's and 40's to chat with!

    If you could redo one thing in your life...

    I would have bought my favourite motorcycle I always wanted before I lost my vestibular function. Working around that tho and looking at getting a new car this year if my illness settles down :D

    I'd definitely go personality over looks any day. However I believe that there must be at least some physical attraction as well. In saying that I've met people over the years that are attractive but are so self absorbed it's a total turn off. I am fortunate I am married to my beautiful wife...

    Anyone else own Staffordshire Bull Terriers out there?!

    As the title suggests. Love my two staffies. Such great and loyal dogs. When I first got ill and was losing my hearing and suffering constant vertigo and severe vertigo attacks landing me in hospital my two Staffs were the best company I could have when my wife was at work :)

    I am currently learning how to hear thru my CI after losing my hearing in my right ear 2 years ago. I have had 3 maps so far, doing listening training with software given to my by my audio and have used angel sound etc. I now listen to pod casts which is helping greatly :) I wear my CI for 18...
