I hate to give a nut like you audience.

But Obama's Katrina? That's pushing it. Did thousands of american lives die because of this? Did this happen inside the United States? Is there a federal agency who's sole purpose is to clean up oil spills?

Ah! A newbie.

Yes, that is what many people are calling this as "Obama's Katrina." It's the lack of response. Not the deaths here although 11 people did get killed.

If you're looking at deaths through Katrina, especially in Louisana, look no further than the governor of LA and the Mayor of New Orleans who never bothered to use the hundreds of yellow school buses to help bus people out of harms way at the last minute. But that's another story and thread.

If you're looking at an agency that deals with emergency it's FEMA. And, no, there is no agency whose sole purpose is to clean up oil spills which I am assuming you mean oil spills in oceans like the BP incident.

Hatred? It's not the person but the Obama Policy I dislike. I'm sure he's a cool guy if you want to sit down for a beer or two or maybe a game of pickup basketball. I don't mind golfing, tho. Obama's over his head in this.

1Thousands....Actually it's hundreds......1800+ but still alot.

2. Happened in the same area as Katrina and will affect a much larger area of the U.S. than Katrina

3. Umm.....same agency that handles hurricanes

Will more llives be lost due to this spill????? No, but it is likely that many more lives will be affected and very possible that the financial impact will be far worse. Only time will tell.

A newbie to me since you only had 190+ postings so far.

Oh, I have my own opinions. Don't blame me if others agree with me or I agree with them.

What argument? I've already said in previous postings that safety regulations need to be revamped along with better emergency response measures in responding to potentially catastrophic oil spills.
