Look at the title of the article you posted in post #1. It is proposed for a now abandoned bridge. If it is abandoned there will be no train traffic.
 
I'm wondering about parking......and how you'd get to your apartment.
 
Yeah I thought that too and the logistics of going to the grocery store.
 
I think it would be better if bridge is for sidewalk only, no cars or trains. It looks so scary to live in. :eek:
 
cool concept, interesting to see how it stands up to earthquakes over time as its prone in that region of Italy

Leaving nature like that I'm all for that. I'm sure the parking logistics were worked out though as article mentioned all details were worked out already. So maybe the parking garage(s) is in one of the areas.
