Beautiful pro-ASL video

Stumbled upon this video this morning. Fantastic. I emailed asking if they will have DVDs of it to give the new parents of our deaf-ed kiddos here! Such a breat of fresh air to see a video on YouTube geared towards hearing parents so strongly promoting the use of sign.

It has to be better than that popular video used by the cochlear implant industry that promotes the idea that children can not lead productive and fulfilling lives unless they can hear.

the "See What I'm Saying" -related video <bottom> was part of that promo that went around the country. I saw when it came to my city, it was great!

I just watched the first video <ASL/deaf babies> and also thought it was just beautiful-

We watched the first video in my Deaf Culture class. Very nice to see something overwhelmingly positive!
