I know, the PS3 is so far ahead of the 360 in technology that it is easy to assume that Bill Gates will come out with a newer console. MGS4 supposedly will support compatability between the PS3 and PSP using MGA2. I'm imaginging myself playing MGS4 with 2 HD screens. One on the wall, and one in the palm of my hand. It's Nintendo and Sony at both ends of the gaming market, and Microsoft's right in the middle.
I wouldnt be surprised if Nintendo is going to fail in the next gen console war because of the way their controller works than Xbox360's and PS3's do and still lacks third party support and almost no online games at all either.
with Nintendo putting their hopes and faith on Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of Mario and Link just trying to find fun in games rather than entertainment such as watching movies, play CDs, play backward capabality games and so on, etc... I dont really think Miyamoto is really much of a genius at all if he keeps telling Nintendo what to do and keeps getting things fucked up by getting very less third party support, lying of DVD playback, online support, such like that as they did lied with GameCube aka Project Dolphin that it was going to be far more powerful than PS2 and Xbox but did it succeed? the very obvious answer to this question is HELL NO! Only quite a few games kept GameCube alive like Mario, Link, and Samus going into more adventures on GameCube and if it wasn't for them, GameCube would be completely dead and Nintendo would be out of business this instant but now with Revloution...I keep hearing it would have backwards capablity of allowing gamecube games to be played...but would it allow ALL gamecube games to be played? I dunno...Xbox360 didn't all ALL Xbox games to be played until there's an emulator software that downloads through to your harddrive and then lets you play more orginal Xbox games on it...etc. as for PS3, I heard it won't play the orginal PSX games but rather the PS2 games because it doesnt have enough hardware power to run both Playstation and Playstation 2 games on it, and proably wont even let you use the PS2 memory card on it but rather a memory stick to use from the PSP games pfft.
I would really get me a PS3 if it would actually allow me to use the PS2 memory card so it will save me plenty of time of not having to start all these games over again like I have to start all the orginal xbox games over again on Xbox360 because it wont let me use the same memory card from Xbox to Xbox360.
I do have a feelin that Xbox360 and PS3 is goin to do pretty well since both do have plenty of third party support and have more entertainment than just games, games, and more games and Nintendo is just still pretty much behind and won't do the current techogloy like Mircosoft and Sony are already doing and Mircosoft will be going into the HD era soon while Sony is going to be in the blu ray business and Nintendo has....nothing! just more and more games, quite pathetic if you ask me.
Sure I love games and I like games to be fun, but I do like to do other things than just games like watching movies, play backward capablity games and such like that when I dont even need the older system to play old games but can still play the old games on the new system and all so that gives me more space in my room and more time around and all.
