Draged myself from bed at 20 after 7 this morning. Went down and took a shower. I didnt really start getting nervous till about 20 to 8. It hit me that my life was about to change. I put it outa my thoughts. I was fine till my mom started being a bitch in the car on the way there. Well after i got there, i was just fine till i was waiting to go inside and have it done. I had pinkster with me the entire time, she was the last person i saw on my way in the room. She could see me from just outside the room. There was a tv screen she could watch the close up, but i'm not sure how well she could see from the side of me without looking at the tv. So, i went in the room at about 20 to 10, and was out just before 10. They had me focus on a red blinking light inside a ring of white lights. They then put a clamp on my eyelid to keep it open. They then placed a suction device on my eye, it cuts the eyeball making a little flap, then the suction part pulls the flap up so the laser can shoot where it has to. That by far was the worst part. The laser thing itself wasnt that bad. I couldnt really see any difference until they put the flap back over my eye, then i was like OMG I CAN FUCKING SEE! They then did the same thing with my other eye, then put the eye shields i'm wearing now on me, then my sunglasses. I looked at them a few mins ago and they dont look that bad.

So, i get home, an dmy dad wanted to do nothing but hang around for whatever reason. The car ride was such a pain in the ass. He was driving this small car that really should only hold 2 people, but if you jam the seat forward you can fit 4 in. So, my face almost pressed against the windshield, my dad turns the defroster up on high blast, making it feel like its 90 degrees for the duration of the ride home, i can assure you i was not happy. So, i ordered some food, jamie left for work, then i guess i fell asleep, pete brought me up some pizza when it came. My eyes feel pretty good now. When i left the clinic my left eye hurt because i think i was trying to shut my eyelid, kinda hard when its clamped open. So, now its fine, the vision blured with the drops i just put in, they were dry, so i had little other choice, plus it was time anyways. So, i can actuly see, and quite well infact. Its only been like 3 hours since my surgery and although i have to squint from time to time i'm doing quite well.

I'll post an update tomorrow after my follow up appt.

Kewl, you got it done! I have a few friends who's had it done. They say it's a great change and experience for them. They are now happy. I gotta warn you though... you may be red-eyed for a bit from time to time. You'll also get dry-eyed as well. That's just the beginning. Everything else will fall in place! :thumb:

Are you sure? I wish I took pics of the surgery, but I did get to watch though. It was very very interesting. :) But at the same time I was prolly almost as scared as him.

Well bub, you asked for it. I dont exactly know how my pictures of blood pools will help but i'll post it anyways. Also, fresh from the doctor. 20/20 in left eye, 20/30 in right eye. They said they expect it to get better over the next week or so. Kick ass!

Eh... photo is to big, i'll get pinkster to crop it then post it :)

edit: Pinkster takes over!! :D Here's the pic.. Brace yourself fools!! :thumb:
