I don't really know you two well, but you're pretty popular around here... but I was wondering, are you two a couple, or are just friends?

Redrum was a famous racehorse in England. It won lots of races and I have always liked the name. I know it is also from the Stephen King book, The Shining but I remember it from my childhood in England.

Well we are best friends (and just friends not a couple!!!!) and went to College in England when we were 16. Now I live in Australia and Liebling lives in Germany and I have introduced her to alldeaf.

In the attached photo from a while ago (hee hee) Liebling is on the left and I am on the right, as you can see we are both girls!!!

I think Red-Rum is a female since she pointed that she is a mom. :dunno:

I think Red-Rum and Liebling are childhood friends. Again Im not sure either.

Yes I am female and a mum of three beautiful monsters, I mean girls!!!

We have been friends since 16, see the post above.

We are both 41 years old. We have same birthday like twin sisters... :)
We left England on same month of the year 1985 to start new life abroad too!! :)

Well, the only photos we have of us together are older as we now live in different countries. We will have to post more current photo's seperately later

Liebling: black, red, blue, white, khaki (African color)

Red Rum: happy and healthy family and having travelled around the world including Russia, America, Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, buy a house.

Liebling:))) happy & healthy family and have been travelled around the Europe, Islands of spain, Sinpagore, Australia, Greece, Islands of Greece, Turkey, Cyprus,
Tunsia Africa, Italy, Paris, France, Luxemburg, Belgium, Czech, Switerzland, Austria, Holland then alot more...
We bought the land to build our country house... I´m proud to doing restoration work on furniture, old things etc on my house.

I born in Scotland & moved to London due my father´s job when I was 2 years old. I grow up in London until 1985...
I married German & leave England to live in Germany on Sept. 1985.
I would say that German language is my first own language :P
That´s why I´m here to improve my English :P

Emigrated to Australia in 1985, I was born in Kent, England (one hour south from London). I'm English!

wow, Both of you girls are stay'n stick and friendship.. How can you image long friendship long distance aparts... so then how do you feel ?

Yes, we first met at college when we were 16 years old.
After leave college & got the job & also shared a appartment, too... because Red Rum got the job in London, that´s why she came to live with me. We have lovely time...
mmmhhhh, it´s hard emotion when we said each other goodbye before leave England for different countries in 1985... We faxed each other alot to keep our friendship long (that´s time we didn´t have computer with internet yet).
It´s really lovely emotion when we saw each other for a first time after 16 years no see at Melbourne Airport in 2000/01. We saved up hard to fly to see her last Christmas/New Year Eve 2000/01 with family for month vacation at last. We have fun like teenagers Ha Ha.. :laugh2: Red Rum visited to see us in Germany for summer holiday last year...
Now we have computer then we still email each other almost every day & also MSN chat online, too... It´s much better than fax each other... I feel Red Rum is here when we use online chat :fly2: :fly:

I got one... :)

More often than not, close friends lose touch with one another. Not really either one's fault, but it would seem that LIFE gets into the way and even the best of friends lose touch.

You two seem to have been through thick and thin together. What advice would you have for the rest of us on how to keep your friends as close as possible? :)
