Angel's
Respect her all the way? you're so full of it, you only respect those who are on your side, and when they're not thats when you put your boxing gloves on...
Sweetmind said:I dont expecting anyone to be on my side.. If you mind, It seems that you are jealous that I like her more than you. I like her first and other comments that she wrote in this topic. She knows the truth.
Jeeper what a chiildish she is!
Yep... 1-way "communication" from Sweetmind.Sweetmind said:BRAGGING is no good that turns me off in a big time. I dont have to answer your question because I have asked you a question. Can you read my question? Boult!
Sight is not a sound.....for us to hear..... Really?Sweetmind said:I DISAGREE!!!!!!! You cannot compare between the sound and sight because sight is not a sound for us to hear..
No, childabuse is when you restrict your child from obtaining the best. And Deaf children should be asked if they want CI or not. but a deaf child is too young to be asked so the parent takes the decision. My daughter is deaf. Not Deaf. For us to give her hearing - which is better than the hearing of her hearing grandmother - is the opposite of childabuse in her case. In her case, NOT allowing her to be able to hear would have deprived her from lots of joy. So Had YOU not allowed her to be able to hear, you would have been guilty of child-abuse.Sweetmind said:.................Device is not the answer to make us hear everything that s what it s so bothersome. That is a big lie from CI corporation. What a sucker for the parents to believe everything what CI radicals saying. I feel sorry for those Deaf children who have been tolerating with their parents' audist attitude and force them like a hearing child..THAT S A CHILD ABUSE.
And THAT is child-abuse... withholding the possibility of hearing from a child just because it has never heared. That's huge discrimination!!Sweetmind said:CI is for latened deaf people. PERIOD!
JEEZ!!
Sweetmind
So with all the crap you have had in your life... you feel it's justified to have all Deaf children and deaf children to get the chance to go through the same crap!Sweetmind said:....bla.....bla....bla...dejavu....bla....repeatin.......Sweetmind

And you say that you love children and speak for them...
Well, in all the 2 years that I have written to you I have never seen anything of it.
You were miserable... now these children should be miserable..
YOu know, had you read any posts on this site, you would have noticed that people had a great time growing up...
So, save some deaf and Deaf children and get educated instead of copying articles on the messageboard that either you haven't read or that are totally irrelevant.
It only shows you can copy/past. It shows you can read headlines and it shows you don't understand the message...
Sweetmind said:No need to force Deaf children to hear the sound that is very annoying noise if they dont want to hear with device. Parents kept pushing them too far and should give them a break..
let them decide whatever they want to use devices.
Same old shyte what you have explained about your deaf child that reminds me when I was a little child. NOTHING changed!
^Angel^ said:No parents are forcing their deaf children to hear, it's all about what's best for their deaf children and having the right devices to help them hear when some deaf children didn't recieved any benefit from the use of hearing aids, then the parents look into the next step which is CI implants and they need the right help, encouragement and equipment for their deaf children...I know for the fact that ALL children inculding deaf loves using their voices and making sounds and when they have the right devices to help them hear, they will have plenty of opportunities to play and listen to sounds and speech as well.. and it helps the deaf child to hear lots of different sounds and they can pick up sounds and know the differences too... It is also important to talk to your deaf children and learn to talk by copying the voices that they hear..That's why I feel that hearing aids and CI implants are the best gift for every deaf child because it helps them be able to hear and be involved in both worlds...
There are result shown that the sooner the deaf child is implant the better the result will be...
You're comparing your childhood to others, why is it your place to worry about what these parents do for their own deaf children, and for that, I will never understand ..

To see her little face light up when she heard noises was so great. I am not sure how much she heard, but I think for the first time she actually heard herself make a noise, and I think she heard my voice too. She was very excited. I really agree with you, I think she loved listening to herself babble!
I look forward to seeing her reaction as she hears other sounds in the future!
Yes, I read about him elswhere on this website....Sweetmind said:Oh I forgot to mention this .. My honest audiologist said it s not worthwhile to have CI for me and many deaf people because he knows the truth.. I respected him with my heart.
Excellent. As long as you have investigated yourself and do not copy any opinion from pro-CI OR Deaf-culture anti-CI propagande.CyberRed said:I don't believe in CI implants. Hearin' aids are okay, but not CI implants from the way I view it. Hearin' aids and CI implants are different.
