I don't like SLI, what for? if you want 1040 x 740 or high not good smooth, you can put SLI, if you want BIG screen 4000x2000 need Quad-SLI but not good HUD very tiny meter, number life, shild, can't see it

I like only alone video card, I can read HUD like big number

one, 1040x740? wtf, there is no resolution like that.
two, no hdtv for sale has 4000x2000, and 4000x2000 is not standard resolution, max right now is 1080p (1920x1080)

my overclocked x2 4400 runs at 43c from 2.2ghz to 2.5ghz
my 7800GT sli set up runs at 37 idle and 44 load.

you are right, not 1040x740 becuase my poor memory, check size, it is 1024 x 768

I don't remember 4000x2000, where? I saw CES 2006 website, I am suprise first time Sony Projector say 4096 x 2160 http://www.anandtech.com/tradeshows/showdoc.aspx?i=2666&p=3

sony projector 4096x2160 and Quad-SLI at CES 2006 too, they are not sale, wait between 3 month or next year

Yeah I saw it from CES too. The will in future but you can't buy that thing yet. It looks like a damn cannon.

yeah too high expenise, I found new Sharp 27" have 1080P and 4ms TS cost $5,000 sigh.. they from Japan, not yet American becuase Sharp have beautiful fonts, size, etc.. I wish cheap, but they have 25 to 37 cheap but only slow 8ms to up, no 1080P becuase 1080p is new techology and Blu-y (i don't remember spell) and HD-DVD get 1040p will come this year or future grow up 1080p
