What do you guys think will happen on Judgement Day? I have gathered the informations from Internet, Bible, Books, Television and so on saying that the doom day is achually December 22nd, 2012. The Mayas, Nostradamus and the Merlin has predicted that the world ends on December 22nd, 2012 and the Maya's calender is accurted, never been wrong once and their calender showed that the last date, meaning of last day of the world is December 22nd, 2012...and its a bit freaky.

What are your thoughts? What do you think will happen? Me, on other hand thinks it's a new beginning of everything. I don't think we'll all disappear or anything like it, but I do think that the world we live in would be over and start all over again, like the Romans. Look at Romans, their empire has fallen down and has to start from the scrap all over again. I think that's what could happen to us, no power or anything, but start all over again without the world that we once used to know.

Honestly, I'm not sure yet. But that's one theroy.

I've read about the Mayan calendar and how it ended on or around December 21, 2012, but no one seems to know why. Maybe the Maya indians didn't live long enough to continue with their calendar, but I don't think anything bad will happen to humanity by the said date. :fingersx:

I already posted about The Final Judgement day Click Here

Nobody knows when it'll happen, it doesn't even say so in the bible. :)

No one knows when the end times will begin.

The Bible tells us that the Rapture, then the seven years of Tribulation, then the 1,000-year reign of Christ (Millenium), then the battle of Armageddon all have to happen before the world is finally destroyed and created new. But we don't know when the Rapture date is.

After the Rapture happens, then you can do the math.

If the Bible was real, it would include the date of Judgment Day. ;)

In reality, the real Judgment Day will be like in Terminator 3. ;)

Mayan Calendar

There is a rumor going around that at the end of the Mayan Calendar, the world will end. An alternative view is that the World Will Not End! [A third alternative is that time as we know it will end, but the world may continue merrily along -- in some fashion or another!]

Carlos Barrios [1], an historian and anthropologist, is reputed to have said that, “Other people write about prophecy in the name of the Maya. They say that the world will end in December 2012.” Barrios claims that the Mayan elders are angry about this. According to them, the world will not end. It will be transformed. There is, in fact, a difference.

The Mayan’s comprehension of time, seasons, and cycles has proven itself to be vast and sophisticated. The Maya developed 17 different calendars, some of them claiming to chart time accurately over a span of more than ten million years [But how would anyone know?]. The particular Mayan Calendar that has steadily drawn global attention since 1987 is called the Tzolk’in or Cholq’ij. This calendar was devised ages ago and is based on the cycle of the Pleiades. As such, it is held as sacred.

With indigenous calendars, native people have kept track of important turning points in history. For example, the daykeepers who studied the calendars identified an important day in the year One Reed, Ce Acatal, as it was called. That was the day when an important ancestor was prophesied to return, “coming like a butterfly.” In the western calendar, the One Reed date correlates to Easter Sunday, April 21, 1519 the day that Hernando Cortez and his fleet of 11 Spanish galleons arrived from the East at what is today called Vera Cruz, Mexico. When the Spanish ships came toward shore, native people were waiting and watching to see how it would go. The billowing sails of the ships did indeed remind the scouts of butterflies skimming the ocean surface.

This event initiated a new era, one that had been anticipated through the Mayan calendars. The Maya termed the new era: the Nine Bolomtikus, or nine Hells of 52 years each. As the nine cycles unfolded, the Mayan land and freedom were taken from the native people. Disease and disrespect dominated. What began with the arrival of Cortez, lasted until August 16, 1987 - a date many people refer to as the Harmonic Convergence. Millions of people took advantage of the latter date to share in ceremonies at sacred sites, praying for a smooth transition to a new era, the World of the Fifth Sun.

From that 1987 date until now, Mr. Barrios says, “We have been in a time when the right arm of the materialistic world is disappearing, slowly but inexorably. We are at the cusp of the era when peace begins, and people live in harmony with Mother Earth. We are no longer in the World of the Fourth Sun, but we are not yet in the World of the Fifth Sun. This is the time in-between, the time of transition. As we pass through transition there is a colossal, global convergence of environmental destruction, social chaos, war, and ongoing Earth changes.”

[All good calendar changes have transitions. They are really essential.]

All this, Mr. Barrios says, was foreseen via the simple, spiral mathematics of the Mayan calendars. “It will change,” Mr. Barrios observes. “Everything will change.” He said Mayan Daykeepers view the Dec. 21, 2012 date as a rebirth, the start of the World of the Fifth Sun. It will be the start of a new era resulting from and signified by the solar meridian crossing the galactic equator, and the earth aligning itself with the center of the galaxy. And while the so-called World of the Fourth Sun will indeed end, the result is true to the idea of Death and Rebirth. The key is not focusing on death, but on the rebirth!

At sunrise on December 21, 2012 for the first time in 26,000 years the Sun rises to conjunct the intersection of the Milky Way and the plane of the ecliptic. This cosmic cross is considered to be an embodiment of the Sacred Tree, the Tree of Life, a tree remembered in all the world’s spiritual traditions. Some observers say this alignment with the heart of the galaxy in 2012 will open a channel for cosmic energy to flow through the earth, cleansing it and all that dwells upon it, raising all to a higher level of vibration.

This process has already begun, Mr. Barrios suggested.

“Change is accelerating now, and it will continue to accelerate.” If the people of the earth can get to this 2012 date in good shape, without having destroyed too much of the Earth, Mr. Barrios said, we will rise to a new, higher level.

, true - they should add the date of Judgment Day in the Bible but it doesn't.

2012?? Nah I don't think that will happen, but it could be. Lets wait and see on december 22, 2012.... if we past the date december 23, 2012. We would look back and laugh about talking about this.

21st December is my hubby's birthday... :eek3:

If life was to end on Earth, it could be because an asteroid collided with Earth. There has been several near misses. Maybe the Mayans were able to calculate the date of the collision somehow... It is said that when the Mayans found out the world will end of a particular date, they abandoned their home...

I think either war or drought forced the Mayans from their home.

If the Bible was real, it would include the date of Judgment Day. ;)

Why? so that you could repent your sins at the last minute? and accepted Jesus in your heart, so that you could just save your own self?

I'm just glad there's no date of Judgment day in the bible. I prefer to see if people would really want a relationship with God on their on terms. ;)

Kaelei, last day of the world is December 22nd, 2012...?? Mmmm..mm..No, nah.. I never hear any words from Mayas. I am not buy Maya's predictable. Like the Christian church of leaders claimed their predict about rapture's timetable. time came passed, their predictable was failed! JW of leader had vision that the followers of JW will be save from great judgment on exact day and year. time was passed, so JW's predictable was failed.

The Christian Church leaders and JW leaders 's their predictable are fully BS!

The world's events and crisis werent match their predictable's timetable! ;)

Oh whats my thoughts? I support your realistic theory! Yes Look at USA dropped the big amotic bomb directly Japan's shore, destoryed all cities and killed people of japan but few people were suvivors after amotic bomb. they started all over again. as well My thought is exactly same what you had thought as above. I can't deny the facts you bring up about the similar history is repeat itself. But the last day of the USA and the world will be worse and nightmare, Once USA fallen from powerful empire, military and weath like Roman and Egypt. mightly towers and great cities of USA will destory by evil people, not God nor Jesus Christ and follwers. There WILL be no rule among nations. however pieces of people will be more divide, rule and king against king eachothers. They will return their own tribes or create their own tribes rise against other tribe like old fashion time that way.

Jesus christ will never rule the world when he come back.. nothing at all

Well I have been hearing the rumors saying the year of 2000 Mt. Hood will erupted which never happened and I heard that more than 8 years ago, and now we talking about end of world in 2012 seems hard for me to believe...

I can't believe people are fool by the mouth of words by people, I prefer to trust God, and the bible, after all it's God's Judgment Day, not the people.

And the bible says no date for the Final Judgment Day. You'll know when it comes when it happens. :)

No one actually really "knows" when judgment day comes. Only GOD knows when. We don't.

God know when the judgement? what the fool. God won't. People should know the final judgement come. did your bible/ scripture not tell you? Did WTC (9/11) not tell you as witness?

If you said that God know when the time of judgment come. you know what? your sayings is very opposite yourself like that. actually, there already mentioned in the scriptures's quote: "Man knew the time come when the first fall apart". Mmmmm.mmm
