I've been doing that for years....forgot who told me about it...:)

It is so easy do it on bottom...my son does the same thing cuz I taught him! :)
 
I didn't know that! I'll try that technique next time I get a batch of bananas at the grocery store!
 
cool i will try it to see if i will make it. i usually open the opposite side. it works ok for me. ha
 
Did you guys notice that his p.j. bottom has monkey prints all over it.
 
I just figured that monkeys bit the stem and peeled down, but there's only one way to find out. Get in contact with a zoologist and ask them to film a monkey opening a banana.

a small monkey did bite the stem and then peel it. I would like to see a chimp doing it.
