Nikon D 80 Camera....Awesome!!!

My husband and I bought a Nikon Camera. It has awesome features and settings. You can take all kinds of cool pictures...

Any one else out there has a Nikon D80... or some kind of camera that is similar?? Here are some pictures we have taken......

This one is the Dog backing up out of the water.. LOL

This one is done with a slow shutter speed.

This was was set at a high shutter speed... Hubby was driving 65mph when I took this shot of the orange grove.

I think this camera was a great investment... Hubby and I have been going nuts over taking all kinds of pictures.
 
I would prefer to buy something else instead of that $1,120 camera.

Thanks! We still have a lot to learn about this camera and what it is capable of doing. It has so many different settings, adjustments and Lenses.

If anyone has any good pointers on this camera please don't hesitate your input.

Your preference. But we decided it would be a good investment since hubby and I both enjoy taking pictures.. We consider it as a hobby.

and to mention we will have excellent pictures of our children... When they grow up it is nice for them to have good quality pics.
 
Both Canon and Nikon both make excellent digital cameras. I own a Canon Rebel XLT myself.

Hey that is great. I have a friend that has a Canon she is old school and uses a 35 mm film. But the settings and lenses are similar.

Do you take any cool pictures or close up pictures?

I want to learn how to do the HDR pictures.
 
I am surprised that no one have any interest in photography...or any comments on how to take an excellent pictures. I'm still learning.

Other pictures are welcome on this thread.
 
I do enjoy taking pictures but my camera is getting old fart! :giggle: I wanted Cannon Rebel.. I would not mind same as your! The pictures turned out AWESOME!!!! I love the dog in the water! TOO CUTE!

Thanks. Cannon Rebel is an awesome camera also.

From what I hear Cannon and Nikon are rival cameras...... I hear both take excellent pictures.

My poor dog.... that picture was taken last weekend on Feb 10th. We were all on the boat and I took my dog up to shore to (take care of her business) I went back to the boat to get the Camera and she flipped... She tried to come but it was her first time on the boat and she just realized... **hey this stuff is wet** and she really did walk backwards all the way to shore. LOL it was so cute.

Apparently, I currently own a FujiFilm S5700, I think? ( I gotta check the camera again, later.)

I'm not trying to compare cameras...I'm just looking for people that takes pride in the pictures that they take. Regardless of the camera. And give out a few pointers.

This one I find hilarious.. the dogs down the road... Seems the Rott. is the crossing guard of the brown dog. You look close you can see the muddy paw prints on the road...I took this picture on Auto setting.
