i told my mom about i will go London,England on March 18-March 25 2010 for my boyfriend's milestone birthday but my boyfriend will reach 30 years old on my late grandfather's birthday March 22.

if my late grandfather will lives today and he will turned at 75 years old i cant imagine

i begged my mom about i would go alone im adult but my mom says MUST go with someone from alldeaf members

You are an adult and have your own life... You can go to London alone or get someone, you know in your real life to company you there?

I hope you have a fantastic time Sara and I have to say I can understand how your mother feels.

I am like you, I love to travel alone and I still do travel alone myself much to my family and my husband's worries. I flew alone to visit my best friend and yes, I gave him several frights on several trips.

This is where I can see travelling with a friend is better to be on the safe side. You do have health concerns and a friend will assist you if you fell ill.

An ADers has to go with you? Who is paying?

Awesome!! and Be Careful okie!!!

Her mother might have legal guardianship over her.

I would imagine Sara has to pay for that ADer.. oh I can so see her inbox piling up now. Oopsie-daisie! :aw:

I was thinking the same. she should think about it some more its going to cost her a lot of money.

You're correct about that Pepsi, her mother may have legal guardianship over her and there's always something we're not getting but that does not mean we are entitled to it.

A trip overseas alone is exciting and for someone of a diminished thinking capacity should think twice because there are risks involved. I don't mean to be rude but Sara, you need to have a companion with you and you do have to pay for that companion.

Oh that's cool that you're going to London England! I always wanted to visit London England and I found out that my cousin is movin to England in December and I have a friend who lives in England, haven't seen him since 6th grade...

Anyways, I just want to say good luck and have fun! :)

I am curious..why did your mom say that the companion must be someone from AD? What about friends in real life?

I remember that Sara said that she is 26 or 27 years old last year? Please correct if I am wrong about your age, Sara.

Oh I see and understood why your mother is worried about you and make sure that someone should company you to London. I hope you find a nice friend who is happy to company you there.

There are some adults that need guardianship.

Sara,
Make sure u apply to get a passprt earlier cuz the application will take longer to get and also apply the form for american embassy in london to let them know ure coming for ur security reason. I had that before for my Russia trip in years ago. Have a good trip if ure going.. I went to london in the past too.

Man, how exciting... I really hope that you have a blast out there. I can't wait to take a trip to Europe myself.

I will pass on. :iough:
