this community is large ..and getting bigger. it seems almost everyone knows at least someone here! so, right now I'm kinda of a little confused.. could you verify me who do you know and how did you gal/guys met or any relatives if you don't mind....of course, except for meeting through AD. :)

as for me, I only know two ADees here, and have met them both before - norcal20 from ooold high school back in 1999! and vampy, through a friend of ours last year. I also know alleycat from another forum.. for .. probably three-four years?

now, tell me who do you know, your friends!
 
I know several members on AllDeaf personally - but I knew them long before Alex started/founded AllDeaf.com. Not every of them were aware I am a member here. :) I know plenty of people here from DeafChat (the old one) and DeafLore.

I ran into at least four members at several different deaf-related events.
 
I hope to meet some more of you at an event if there's one near me.. when did AD established?
 
I believe it was in early 2002. Some of us (early members) had to register again after Alex moved AllDeaf to vBulletin forums from phpBB forums. Alex, at that time wasn't able to transfer some things like exisitng accounts to one another.
 
I've met many ADers from here in real life. I formed a close bond with some of those people, not all. :P
 
yeah and I'm sure there are few more here I've met in real life that I haven't known yet as we use our usernames instead of names. our world is so small.

are you a twin sister of angel, right?
 
I know PuyoPiyo, SkullChick, DeafSissyAngel86 (inactive), *~Kealeai~* (Sorry, I can't spell it lol), and I think that's all.
 
I know a lot of members here and I met them through many places...

- random social event
- planned social event
- wedding
- college
- high school
- work
- fraternity

I have met and known several AD members through Gallaudet, weddings, deaf events, campings, so and on.

The fun part is - forming a friendship with them. Only very few of them are the ones that I've became really close to. :)
 
I know 0 people from AD :dunno: That is too bad 4 me because I feel so highly and respectful of a lot of people on AD.

I would say I kinda know Kalista indirectly cuz I was friends with her hubby (AmericanChopper).

Other than that, dont know any ADers personally in life. I probably do know one or two but not aware of it due to screennames or hidden pics. Hehehe...If not, then 0.

I am supposed to meet Deaf258 for the first time next Friday at Baltimore DPHH. He was a good friend of my brother when they both lived in Phx.
 
I met some AD'ers in real life last summer and it was soooo neat to meet them and I enjoy being with them. Especially Leibling who have flown from Germany to meet us all. She was pretty neat lady to meet and fun to learn German sign language.

Some of AD'ers that I have gotten to know before I became a member here in AD. Like from Deafchat and Deaflore.

It was nice to get to know the ppl also I have met one lady from AD long time ago before I had my computer. :D
 
i have known several people and finally got to meet Taylor. hopefully i ll get to meet more soon. i know i will get to meet steelx (dont know his full ad name lol) in aug and um thats all i can think of that i have met or known in real life on AD. i have befriended with many although lately i havent post often due to the fact i have a new baby. hopefully soon enough i will became more active.
 
There are some members that I met first in AllDeaf, then met again in person later on.
