My surgery date for arm is on Sept 27 in morning... I'm kinda nervous rigtht now.

I got no benefits with splint because I'm using sign language at all time and its too hard to heal it and the doctor let me to get in surgery because its easier to heal it, much better than splint.

because I had tingling and numbness in my end of finger that connect to arm, also become more weak on my hand and doctor found out it was nerve pinched.

It's my first time to get surgery at adult hospital.

Great, I'll keep you in my prayers and hope everything goes well during surgery

Did the doctor ever try to prescription you anything for your arm first before going ahead with surgery? This is rare to me. Usually the doctors try something else first for any improvements, before going ahead with surgery.

Nah, it wouldn't work but we had done to deal with doctor about choose surgery over wear splint for 3-4 weeks without action with sign language but splint isn't easier to heal it.

It won't work. He will need surgery anyway because of the nerves. You can't take medicines for nerves, it will not do anything except to reduce his pains which the only thing he can take is painkillers. So you want him to take painkillers for rest of his life? So the option is surgery and its fixable. :)

Yea, that right.

Well, I understand about Cheri's feeling but she got good advice too.

Well, I had two different type of prescriptions and it healed up just fine, The doctor said if it doesn't heal up in a several days, then I would need to go under surgery, It did healed up. Have you had it before, or are you amusing that, the only way out is to go under surgery?
