I want to start a thread where you share what you learned today. Your comment should begin with, "Today, I learned...."

Today, I learned that Novak Djokovic lost to Andy Murray in the semifinals at the London Olympics. :(
 
I went to Old Wisconsin World today. I learned that Wisconsin was a place for many Danish, Norwegian, and Finnish immigrants.

If you've a chance and like history, google up "Old Wisconsin World".
 
I just learned that huge storm is coming very shortly. I like to use internet while I watch tv unless it's sports game. :lol:

I also learned my next door neighbor's house for sale..I never see them and they have a lot of land...over 30 acres.
 
Today I learned the words: word, would, with, if, lay, any, show, bursting, into, people, american, patrol, need, & us/we.
 
Today, I learned to never again buy the brand Musselman's Key Lime Pie filling.....One bite, and the rest went into the trash.....
 
Interesting... Quantum energy is FAR more powerful than nuclear energy. If we can figure out how to contain it, it will solve our energy needs - or god forbid a new WMD (weapon of mass destruction).

Quantum Energy as WMD. if it did explode... well let's just say there won't be energy left to play with :giggle:
 
Today, I learned if you need help in NYC you probably won't get it. people are so careless. Guy is walking bleeding from his head on the side of the road and no one stops to ask if he wants help. Clearly he needs it so asking "are you alright?" is irrelevant.

I learned today that 15,000 women die a yr from ovarian cancer..blew me away..just sad :(
 
i learned that its not easy to admit that i need someone to help me as i used to be independent, cz of my pride but because of the emergency that i didnt expect to happen and i am grateful afterward.i m learning to be humble.

I learned that even when people speak louder for me, I still don't understand Spanish.
 
I learned that a dead bar may be kind of boring, but it's quiet and there's no wait for the bathroom. Two big pluses in my book.

I also learned while typing this that drunk typing is no bueno. I think I fixed everything

I learned my realplayer is outdated and a member helped me get it working again, you are a GENIUS!:ty::ty:
 
Today, I learned about aggregation and how I can apply it to classes when I make programs in Java.
