Tmobile mytouch

I want to upgrade to my touch and called Tmobile for new plan. I want data only and lowest cost.

They tell me that I need to sign up for voice plan at $39. Plus unlimited text for $10 and a data plan at $10 for 20Meg or $30 for unlimited. Then they say after i get i call and cancel voice plan. So I can have data plan if i want on phone for only $10 if not unlimited and not text.. or data unlimited for $30 or $40 for unlimited data and text....

another friend said they call and just got quote for $40 a month..

Anyone help me??

I have a friend that works at tmobile she said it should only be $40 for data only you don't have to get the voice plan, call back and ask to talk to a supervisor!! Because the info you were given was incorrect.
