What: 12th Annual Deaf Convention
When: July 1-3, 2005
Where: 2932 Kennedy Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ
A three-day convention presented in American Sign Language will be held July 1-3, 2005 at the Assembly Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Stanley Theater. All who use American Sign Language are invited. Last year’s convention had a peak attendance of 2960. People from 22 states and four countries were present. Over 130 tactile interpreters made the entire program accessible to 14 Deaf-Blind individuals. This year’s convention entitled "Godly Obedience" will help all to appreciate that obeying God is a protection and has many benefits.
The morning sessions begin at 9:30 each day. On Friday and Saturday, the afternoon sessions will begin at 2:00 p.m. On Sunday, the afternoon session will begin at 1:30 p.m. The address of the Stanley Theater is 2932 Kennedy Boulevard, Jersey City, New Jersey. The convention is free and open to the public. There are no collections taken.
