Is God mean or not?

Some people believe that God made people deaf on purpose. Some other people who don't believe that God made people deaf because they think if God made them deaf, then God is mean. They think that God does not want to see them to be suffered.

Many deaf people feel suffered for being deafness because of anger, frustrated, etc.

For me, I really like to believe very much that God made me deaf on purpose and if He did, then I feel better because being deafness is a huge challenge and feel good about myself.

If God never made me deaf, then I would be disappointed and feel not fair - to compare to my 5 hearing siblings and my hearing parents.

Some normal people are very lucky to be normal, fine, happy, etc.

Some other people are not lucky because of their disabilities (deaf or blind or handicapped or etc). Yes, that's not fair!

Now, I don't know what to believe about God who made people to be like deaf or etc or not.

Now, I guess God didn't make me deaf. That's unfortunately!! I wish God made me deaf because if He did, I will feel better. If God never made me deaf, then sh.t! Oh well!!

At least, I'm a happy person anyway!

It's just that it is so frustrating that everyone have different beliefs which I hate! Oh well!

So, I guess God didn't make anyone to have disability.
 
Well I accept my deafness long, long time ago and never thought how mean God is etc...

I see no excuse to blame God for anything!
 
God didn't make you to be deaf on purpose, he just have people to be something which is special and maybe one day, you get something to be famous, never know. Same like, there have black History. Why did they become black? Maybe God get them to be black because they will become famous or something like that... THERE IS A REASON WHY WE BECOME DEAF... Same like with blind people, etc people with having something... Don't blame God...
 
Sometimes we have to becareful what u see the difference between ON purpose or FOR the purpose. ON purpose is many times as of negative, and some on positive based on what u talking about. FOR the purpose is what God's plan for your life. Like God asked Moses, who made deaf? Who made the blind? And also, disciples asked Jesus, who sin that made them blind or deaf? Jesus said, NEITHER. Its for the purpose. Well known hymn songwriter who is blind wrote several songs like, Redeemed, and also Near the Cross,,, Saved by Grace,,,He Hideth My Soul,,,,Take the World Give Me Jesus,,,,,Blessed Assurance,,,,To God Be the Glory and many more songs she worte, as God given talents. Even deaf guy who wrote and played Beethoven. There is so much that God given gift to each one. You are deaf and I'm deaf and blind (usher syndrome) for His purpose. Give thanks to Him and ask Him what He wants you to be for His glory. Smile
 
I would say that being deaf isn't a punishment from God, just the result of bad karma.

Nah not with me, it has nothing to do with my karma. I just can't stand noise and I got what I wanted. SILENCE.

Heh. It could be the result of good karma too. It depends. :D
 
I believe that God is LOVE period! And that his works is so mysterious in so many ways! :)
 
I dunno.. I don't know if my mom made fun of deaf people before or that she simply didnt know ..She was pregnant with me and she was sick with a virus.. not sure what it was.. so it was possible that I became deaf while I was in the womb.

Jesus Christ is God! God is good and love his grace! I accepted left deaf and right hard of hearing. Praise Lord! God had a good reason for my life! God never mean! God seek your heart when you can worship Lord!
 
God is love and grace.

God is never mean.
 
God allowed his son Jesus to be on Earth, and he healed blind, dying people, and other sick people.

So I think God is testing us, He wants to see how we take care of ourselves.

If we all weren't different, black, deaf, white, gay, blind, paralyzed, asian, diabetic, or whatever, then we wouldn't have any purpose in life. We wouldn't need Doctors or Civil Right Activists.

God wants us to learn to live with one another and help each other.

I don't think God gave us disease on purpose, I think the Devil put diseases on us.

I blamed my parents or ancestors, I thought maybe they drank wrong stuff, ate wrong stuff, smoke or be around radiation, microwave, or took drugs or wrong medication.
 
Umm, I get to experience deafness and hope God love it by experience it with me. I see Him to live in all kind of life and experience it.

It must be boring for God to live perfect forever.

I was just pointing out that the flood was kinda mean.

No, it wasn't "mean".

God, thru Noah, warned the people for many, many years that He was sending the Flood. God told the people how they could escape the judgment of the Flood but they refused.

Suppose you see a huge tree falling towards a person standing near it. You yell and warn the person to move. The person hears you but refuses to move. The tree falls on the person and kills him.

Are you "mean" because that person died? No.
